Community Involvement

May 18th  Jenny Pearson and Rena Taylor represented KH Rehab Services at the first annual May Fest in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. The May Fest was started to inform the community of the available services offered in Kershaw County.

5-18-18 May Fest

April 28th The Rehab Services staff participated in the 11th Annual Clinic Classic, a 5k and 10K course that winds through Camden's Historic District. We had staff cheering on runners, passing out water and providing pre and post running stretching exercises. Congratulations to our very own Tonya Edgerton, PTA for winning first in her age group in the 5K race!


April 17th Amy Faulkenberry spoke at the Volunteer Appreciation Tea on correct postures as well as demonstrated exercises to maintain and improve posture.

March 24th During the month of February and March Rehab Services participated in the fundraising for the American Heart Association. On March 24th, several of our staff members walked in the Heart Walk in Columbia SC.

March 20th Ribbon cutting of the Opening of the New Joint Replacement Center Gym now located on the 3rd floor near the patient rooms.


March 2018 In an effort to give back to the community and support a local school, KershawHealth employees and the Rehab Services department collected school supplies at Kershaw Physical Therapy clinic for Andrew Jackson Middle School who suffered substantial loss in a fire.
