At KershawHealth, we strive every day to provide you with the safest, highest-quality, most cost-effective care possible. With that in mind, we constantly review our processes and policies, implement best practices for patient care, and work with state and national organizations to ensure your safety. From monitoring our patients’ experiences of their care at KershawHealth to implementing the latest treatments for heart attacks and reducing infections, patient care is our highest priority.

Did you receive outstanding service while at KershawHealth?

Please let us know! Write us a note, or call the nursing supervisor or an administrator.

You may be asked to complete a patient satisfaction survey from Press Ganey after your visit to KershawHealth. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey, and feel free to write in additional comments. Your opinions are important to us. They encourage our staff, help us monitor our progress, and enable us to recognize problems.

National Patient Safety Goals are designed to focus our efforts on problems in healthcare safety and how to solve them.

Whether it’s ensuring every patient is identified properly every time, improving staff communication, or using medications safely, these goals are being used in hospitals across the country. A full list of the National Patient Safety Goals can be found at jointcommission.com.
At least every three years, KershawHealth receives an extensive onsite review from The Joint Commission, a national non-profit group that has been dedicated to patient safety for more than 60 years. This helps us strengthen our patient safety efforts, improves risk management, provides education on best practices and helps ensure the public’s confidence in our care. You can learn more about The Joint Commission on their website.

You can find out more about how hospitals across the country and in South Carolina rank on a variety of safety and care measures at the US Department of Health and Human Services Hospital Compare website.

At KershawHealth we strive to maintain the highest levels of corporate integrity and compliance. If you ever have a concern regarding inappropriate or unethical activity, please report it to our compliance officer. You can find out more about our compliance program here.
