Clinical Group Rotation

We appreciate you choosing KershawHealth to facilitate the learning experience of your students.  A clinical group must consist of 2 or more students, who will be performing job responsibilities/duties on a particular nursing unit or patient care department.  As their instructor, you will be responsible for the students’ actions while they are at KershawHealth. 

Before making a request, please verify that your school has an affiliation agreement with KershawHealth and that the agreement is current.  Click here for the current affiliation agreement listing.  If your school does not currently have an affiliation agreement with KershawHealth, you may send one that your school has already developed or modify this sample.

Once your request has been approved, you/your students will need to complete the following prerequisites at least 7 days prior to unit/department orientation:

• Immunization and background check letter (click here) – your school should provide this letter to show that your students meet all of our immunization and background check requirements; if some of these items are not required for your program, the students must still get them completed and the school must provide the letter to support this; if your students need background checks and would like KershawHealth to process this for a small fee, click here to access the required form.
• Online orientation - your students must complete online orientation before beginning their clinical experience; after submitting your request and receiving confirmation, each student will be set up in the KershawHealth online learning program; for instructions on how to access the program (after being set-up), click here.
• Instructor orientation - first time instructors must complete orientation before bringing their students to our facility; please contact KershawHealth's Clinical Educator via email or by calling 803-713-2452 to set up a time to complete this important training.
